Ethan – Mychael Black
Bloodmoon Wars 7
Ethan Levy isn’t a typical alpha. Where others are quite dominant—in and out of bed—with their omegas, he is the opposite. That’s the elephant looming between him and his beloved omega, Taylor Sommers. With a work transfer and moving into the packhouse looming, Ethan heads home after work one evening to find his lover waiting with far more than food on his mind.
Taylor Sommers has always been told he’s more assertive and headstrong than a ‘proper’ omega should be, but he is proud of who he is. After a bit of a pep talk from Dixon, the pack’s doc and resident Dom, Taylor sets out to prove to himself that he can be the Dom his alpha needs him to be.

EXCERPT:
“Got a show tonight?
Ethan Levy glanced up from his work computer at his friend and fellow officer Adrian Cross. “Tomorrow night. Last one for four months, actually.”
“Really? You guys don’t usually take such long breaks. Everything okay?”
“Oh, yeah. Spencer and Zack are heading out of the country to see family, and Andy and Mara’s baby is due around the same time.”
“Baby, huh?” Adrian asked with a grin.
Ethan rolled his eyes. “Don’t go there, dude. We’re still in the honeymoon phase.”
“Now would be a great time to knock him up, just sayin’.” Adrian laughed and barely dodged the pen Ethan launched at him.
“Get out of here, asshole.”
Adrian waved goodbye and left, his laughter echoing down the hall and out the station’s front doors. Ethan just sighed and shook his head. It was no secret he was now mated. Hell, cops gossiped worse than housewives. He and Taylor had other things to sort out first, though. Sex between them was amazing, no doubt about it, but the underlying dynamics were another issue entirely. Thus far, he’d been the top, and while he loved taking Taylor that way, the need—the craving—to be strapped down and tormented until he begged ate away at Ethan.
Bottom line: they desperately needed to talk before the proverbial elephant grew too large for them to handle.
“Sure we can’t convince you to stay with us, Levy?”
Ethan chuckled but shook his head. “Not a chance, Chief. It feels good to be in a pack again.”
His boss nodded from the doorway. “I believe it. The Thorne brothers are good men. A bit hot-headed in their younger days, but you can’t find a better group than them.”
“Thanks, Chief,” Ethan said. “We’ve been friends for years. It’s like everything’s coming full circle finally.”
“Well, you won’t hear me arguing that. Wrap it up since you’ve got an early start here in the morning. See you tomorrow.”
“Night, Chief.”
