Kit – Mychael Black
Bloodmoon Wars 3
Omegas are to be protected—at all costs.
It’s a mantra all Silverthorne alphas know very well. It’s a code they live—and are willing to die—by.
Kristoph “Kit” Russo is one of those alphas. He’s found his mate, and there’s nothing he won’t do to keep Micah safe. Even if it means confronting the family who sold Micah to the brutish Redwoods wolves.
Micah Rutledge never believed in knights in shining armor, but then he found himself in the strong arms of a surly alpha wolf as the man carried him to freedom. But Micah’s family has decided they want him back—one way or another.

EXCERPT:
“You’re healed, but I highly suggest taking it easy for another few days. You may be a little tender inside.”
Micah Rutledge nodded. “Thank you, Dr. Russo.”
Dixon—Dr. Russo—patted Micah’s right knee and helped him sit up. “You’re quite welcome.” He looked at the alpha looming just a foot away. “You can relax now, you know.”
Micah gave the alpha a smile, which the man returned. He’d heard people say Kristoph—or Kit, as most called him—didn’t smile much, but he did with Micah. Dixon left the room so Micah could get dressed. Before he could even move, though, Kristoph was there, sliding the underwear and then the lounge pants up Micah’s legs.
“I can do that,” Micah said with a chuckle.
Kristoph glanced up. “I know, but—”
Rolling his eyes and smiling again, Micah said, “omegas are to be protected at all costs.”
Kristoph smirked, lifted Micah off the table, and set him on his feet to pull up the clothing. “Precisely.”
“He’s your brother,” Micah said. “You can trust him. Besides, he has a mate, remember?” He rested his hands on Kristoph’s broad shoulders and couldn’t help the shiver that raced through him with the man so close.
“Doesn’t matter. You are to be protected at all costs,” Kristoph said. He rested his hands on Micah’s hips.
Micah’s heart kicked up in speed, and he inhaled the intoxicating scents surrounding him. Kristoph smelled like ink and cedarwood, like safety and home.
“Hungry?” Kristoph asked him.
Micah looked up into golden eyes. Even in human form, Kristoph’s eyes remained the same brilliant gold as his wolf’s. Kristoph’s wolf also had a beautiful, thick, pitch-black coat that Micah had quickly discovered made the most luxurious pillow.
In human form, though, Kristoph took his breath away. Micah didn’t think the man had any bare flesh left. Every inch of Kristoph’s dark brown skin was decorated in tattoos. Though they’d yet to do anything sexual, Micah couldn’t help wanting to trace every single design with his tongue and fingers.
Ever since the Silverthorne pack had rescued Micah and the other omegas from the Redwoods wolves, however, Kristoph had been reticent about doing anything too soon. Looking up into the man’s eyes, Micah was definitely hungry but not for food.
“I’m healed…”
Something primal flashed in those golden eyes. Then Micah was back on the exam table and moaning into the most amazing kiss anyone had ever experienced. Kristoph’s strong, talented fingers speared through Micah’s long hair and tipped his head to deepen the kiss. Micah clutched his alpha’s biceps as Kristoph practically devoured him like a starving man.
