On His Knees – Mychael Black
Steelbound 6
Dr. Shaun Lindsey hasn’t been with another man in over two decades, but he can’t resist when his best friend sets him up with not one but two intense men. He never thought he’d be kneeling for anyone, but he finds himself wanting to kneel for these two.
Cain and Mathias decided what they need is a third to complete them, a man who will submit to them both. When they meet Keris’ best friend Shaun, they know they’ve found exactly who they’ve been looking for.

“Are you sure this is okay?”
“All members are allowed to bring a guest one night a month.” Keris grinned. “Stop worrying.”
Shaun Lindsey stared out the windshield at the BDSM club where his best friend worked as a bartender. “Explain to me why you’re dragging me here again?”
Keris gestured for Shaun to get out of the car. Once they were heading toward the front door, he said, “You’ve been striking out left and right with chicks. What you need is a fresh perspective. Maybe you’ll find a sexy submissive in Steelbound.”
Shaun just shook his head. “I’m not exactly the dominant type. You know that.”
Keris shrugged. “Okay, so maybe you’ll find a sexy dominant then.”
Before Shaun could argue anymore, Keris flashed that brilliant smile at the thin window in the door. Then the door opened.
“He’s with me,” Keris said to the doorman. Then he grabbed Shaun’s hand and dragged him through another doorway.
Shaun froze, eyes wide. “Holy shit.”
Keris laughed and led him to the bar. “I told you! Now, we don’t serve alcohol, more for the mortals’ benefits, but Mathias makes some kickass mocktails.”
Lights flashed everywhere, reflecting off various shiny surfaces, including the dancers in the center of the room. Plush seating lined the walls, and at the far end stood a stage. There was no one on it, but Shaun figured that would change eventually.
Shaun had heard about these people—well, Steelbound’s staff, anyway—but the only person he’d actually met was Keris’ lover, Tobias. Shaun slid onto a stool at the bar, still utterly stunned by the opulence of the place. Then he turned to face the bartender.
Incredibly tall, musclebound, and giving Shaun a toothy smile, the man asked, “what can I get you?”
It took a moment for words to actually form in Shaun’s brain, much less escape his mouth. “Um…”
“He wants a mocktail,” Keris chimed in, bumping Shaun’s shoulder. “So surprise him, wolf.”
Wolf. This had to be Mathias, the club’s lupine bartender.
“One surprise, coming up,” Mathias said with a wink.
Shaun had to look away from those exotic amber eyes. He gazed around the room again, but his heart still thundered in his chest. He’d experimented once in college, and he’d thought it had been enough. He hadn’t met a man in a very long time who made his pulse race.
“That’s the boss,” Keris said, once again bumping Shaun. He nodded toward one of the couches in an alcove. “Cain Steel. He owns the place, and he’s Mathias’ lover.”
Shaun hoped that tidbit of info would extinguish the spark of lust. Then he finally looked at the man who ran the club.
Brilliant white hair cascaded over broad shoulders, draping down onto a lean torso. The man wore a white button-down shirt tucked into black leather pants. He was speaking with two other people, and every once in a while, Shaun thought he spotted fangs.
“Here you go.”
Shaun returned his attention to Mathias and the drink the wolf slid over to him. “Thank you,” he murmured. He fished out his wallet, but a huge, strong hand stopped him with a deceptively gentle grip. Shaun looked up into those amber eyes.
“First one’s on the house,” Mathias said.
Shaun managed to find his voice and thanked him before Mathias was called away to another patron.
“Wanna dance?” Keris asked, practically bouncing despite the rather large belly.
“You sure you can?” Shaun asked him.
Keris snorted and rolled his eyes. “Watch me, smartass.”
